We at PreserveMidtown think PlaniTulsa is the most important development plan for the city of Tulsa.

We enthusiastically encourage everyone to attend this meeing to find out what is in store for Tulsa in the next 30 years.  These plans will affect all residents in Tulsa including downtown, midtown neighborhoods, north Tulsa, south Tulsa and west Tulsa.  This is our plan and we need to make sure it is what we want and then push ahead to make sure it guides all future development.

If you have not filled out a survey yet for PlaniTulsa, please go to the following site to do so, http://www.planitulsa.org/whichwaytulsa

There has not been a new comprehensive plan to guide Tulsa development in more than 30 years!  Our city desperately needs to look forward to where we want growth and development in our city now.  Our future success and economic progress will depend on this document.

When you go to the PlaniTulsa site, there will be ample information about each of the four plans available to you.  You will be able to access the information you need to evaluate each of the four options.

Please consider this a very important civic duty to help plan Tulsa’s future.

We at PreserveMidtown take this process very seriously and endorse everyone’s participation in this last public planning step.  Please join us in this most important effort for Tulsa’s future.

Please take the opportunity to participate in one of the last five PLANiTULSA Small Area workshops to be held in Southwest Tulsa, Northland, Forest Orchard/Hillcrest, the Tulsa University Area, and the Southcrest Hospital Area. Also join your neighbors in the Citywide TRANSPORT workshop where you share your thoughts on transportation issues and future transportation needs.

You do not need to live in these areas to participate . Lessons learned from these workshops will be used to develop policies and recommendations that may be applied in similar areas throughout Tulsa .
